- Racing Line (Titanium)
Akrapovic Racing and Evolution systems are designed for riders who demand maximum performance from their motorcycle. Both systems are significantly lighter, if compared to the stock exhaust system and feature exceptional production quality, hi-tech materials and of course increased engine performance combined with pure racing sound output. The Akrapovic Racing and Evolution systems were developed to maximize the potential of the R1200GS. The Evolution system is made entirely of our exclusive high grade titanium while the Racing system uses stainless steel header tubes and link pipe. We offer titanium muffler for each combination. Both systems are EC Type approval and features high-flow catalytic converters.
PERFORMANCEMeasurements of the Akrapovic RACING and EVOLUTION exhaust systems on the BMW R 1200 GS Adventure (with muffler insert):
Power & Torque: the exhaust system modification with the SLIP-ON EC Type approval EXHAUST SYSTEM results in a boost in performance, delivering 106.8 HP at 7700 rpm on back wheel. But the increased power is available just at the right moment. Max. increased power between the Akrapovic and the stock system is 3.7 HP at 7700 rpm.
